Boughton Under Blean Village Hall is designed as a large central main hall with other linked areas that be hired together or separately. If you would like to know more please do not hesitate to contact our booking clerk Sylvia Reaveley on 07939 858 218.

Bar/Main Entrance Lobby & Toilets - Carpeted entrance area flanked by the bar on one side and a large serving hatch to the kitchen on the other. Often used as refreshment area for shows and big events. Entrance lobby leads directly into main hall Disabled access to the hall is good and toilets are accessed via the main entrance or directly from the hall.
Main Hall - Large hall seating a maximum of 300. Full stage facilities. Currently used for a variety of events including some sports. Direct access from main hall to bar, kitchen, cloakrooms and pavilion. The pavilion opens directly onto a patio and overlooks sports pitches and countryside.
Pavilion and Outside Patio Area - An airy and bright second function room off the main hall with access to an outside patio and sports fields. The Pavilion also has a large serving hatch and door to the kitchen.
Kitchen - A good sized and well equipped kitchen. Two gas cookers, fridge, double sink and handwash facilities. Two large serving hatches, one through to main entrance lobby and one to the pavilion. The kitchen has direct access to the car park.
Library / Meeting Room - Boughton’s Public Library is at the rear of the Village Hall and has a range of books suitable for all ages as well as two computers with Internet access for public use. For full details of services available through Kent Libraries, including our online catalogue, visit our website. The meeting room has also been used for local meetings, Yoga and band practices.
Billiard / Snooker Room - Our newly refurbished snooker room is available for hire. Please give us a call.
Badminton Facilities - Our badminton court is available for hire.  Please contact our secretary for availability etc. Sports Field and Changing Rooms - The hall overlooks a large sports field. Enquiries regarding organised sports and/or the changing rooms should be made by contacting Sylvia Reaveley. There are hot showers. For many years the hall and field was the venue for the 'Boughton 10K Run' which attracted several hundred competitors each Autumn.
Childrens Play Area - There is a childrens Play Area adjacent to the Village hall. This area is currently available as a public facility and is often used during Village Hall events. Our childrens play area has been extended and now includes some fabulous play equipment.
Car Parking - There is currently parking for 60 cars. The car park is also used by people visiting the Village and by parents dropping and collecting children from the adjacent Primary School. There are two disabled parking bays sited just 10 metres from the main entrance.
Security - CCTV cameras cover the car park and other outside areas and there is plenty of external lighting. Internally CCTV covers the entrance lobby and main hall.
