The Faversham Off-Road Car Club was founded in 1986. We meet on a weekly basis to race 1/10th scale electric radio controlled model cars. Since 1988 we have been running in Boughton Village Hall and currently we can be found there every Wednesday evening (except for 2 weeks over Christmas).

We are very friendly and welcoming club that is open to all ages and abilities. We place a strong emphasis on introducing juniors and novices to this exciting and competitive hobby whilst also maintaining a high quality of competition for the seasoned racer.

We typically see between 30 and 40 people racing each week, all of whom will be quite happy to talk to you about the club and the hobby in general. The first race of the night is usually on track by 8pm and there will typically be 15 races during the evening (3 rounds of 5 heats each).

We have an annual membership subscription of £22 for seniors and £14 for juniors. Included with your club membership is an associated membership to the British Radio Car Association (www.brca.org) which provides 3rd party liability insurance for its members. Race fees for the evening are £2.50 for seniors and £1.75 for juniors. There is no spectator’s fee and competitors racing at the club for the first time race for free.
